Abstract

Social entrepreneurship has been recognised as a powerful way to address complex social and environmental problems
while providing financial stability. However, this dual mission exposes social enterprises to various risks.
The purpose of this article is to identify the risks of social enterprises, to determine ways to manage and regulate them at the private and public level. In this analysis, an in-depth study of recent research papers written by leading experts in the field is conducted to gain insight into the main risks of social enterprise development. By analysing the research papers written by experts
in the field of social entrepreneurship, the multifaceted risks facing social enterprises have been summarised.
The article categorised the risks in social entrepreneurship by level and suggested ways of their state management and regulation.
The article, provides a deeper understanding of the risks and available strategies to mitigate them and can be used as an informative tool for social entrepreneurship training courses.
