Abstract

Household financial resources are a key element of Kazakhstan's financial system, determining the sustainability of domestic demand, the level of savings, investment potential and the quality of the population life. With a transforming economy, the growth of digital financial services, and increased consumer lending, there is an increasing need for a comprehensive analysis of household income, spending, and savings patterns. The purpose of this article is to study the financial resources of households in Kazakhstan and assess their importance for the socio-economic development of the country.

The given work provides an overview for theoretical approaches to the study of household finances, examines current trends in the formation of income and expenses, as well as factors affecting the financial behavior of the population. Special attention is paid to the role of households in ensuring macroeconomic stability, the formation of aggregate demand, the development of the financial sector and cumulative investment. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the problems of creditworthiness, income differentiation, a decrease in the real level of well-being and limited investment opportunities of households are discussed.

The results of the study show that the financial resources of the population have a significant impact on economic growth, the level of domestic consumption, the effectiveness of social policy and the financial market state. The identified imbalances in the structure for income and expenses require improvement of government policies aimed at improving financial literacy, regulating consumer lending and stimulating long-term savings.

The article concludes that there is a need for a comprehensive study of household financial decisions, as they are the most important driver of Kazakhstan's sustainable development.
