ANALYSIS OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITY OF THE MINING INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to its importance for the country’s economy, environment and society,
the analysis of which can serve as a basis for achieving sustainable economic development, improving competitiveness and ensuring energy security of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The goals of economic development declared by the state require companies to function effectively in all sectors of the real sector of the economy, including the mining industry, in this context, there is an urgent need to promote the integration of sectoral markets and the formation of market space,
occupying its niche. Therefore, the analysis of the organization and functioning of sectoral risks, where the investment activity of companies is of no small importance, the study of anti-crisis measures for their stabilization in order to develop promising areas of development and ways of improvement in the conditions of integration processes is relevant.
The purpose of the study is the analysis aimed at determining the effectiveness of investment activity in the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its contribution to the national economy, as well as identifying opportunities and developing recommendations to improve the practice of managing the efficiency of industry companies, taking into account the impact of investment risks on the materials of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
The object of the study is the national company NAC Kazatomprom JSC, investment activity of which is aimed at improving the financial and economic sustainability of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Hypothesis of the study: Analyzing the effectiveness of investment activity in the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the main focus on NAC Kazatomprom JSC, will reveal the contribution of this industry to the national economy.
The results of the study consist in considering the process of development of the analysis of investment activity analysis of the mining industry of the RK, where as the object of research the author considered the company NAC Kazatomprom JSC. The results of the considered company with the profitability of the KASE index were obtained, which offer ideas for the further development
of investment activities, in particular, the securities market, because to ensure their stable functioning and integration into the global economic system, as well as to achieve a high degree of competitiveness, it is necessary to change the existing model of market infrastructure.
The findings of the study emphasize the importance of establishing and maintaining a balance in investment activities, including the mining industry. Establishing and maintaining a balance in the investment activity of economic sectors, including the mining industry, requires the development of a management system and tool, the purpose of which is not to shield the company (industry) from risk, but to find an optimal combination of risks and opportunities that lead to an increase in the efficiency of the company’s investment activity.
